Karofi Online Video

The client was looking for a minute long online video and various social cut-downs as part of a digital campaign. It needed to be high end and entertaining, whilst still telling the story of the brand. We were giving a rough outline for the story they wanted, but the rest of the development was left to us.

They were looking for a really high end video, with nine characters, several scenes (including a waterfall-domed city!) from storyboard, through concept art, character design, previsualisation, animation, rendering and post all in five weeks!

As this was there first venture into anything like this, we led the client through the process, helping them hone their message and style.  It is easy to get hung up on the details, but  it is vital, (especially when on a tight turnaround) to keep on track and focus on the bigger picture.

The video and its subsequent teasers have now racked up nearly 1 million views on the Karofi YouTube page. The hero character has also been made into a huge physical statue! Take a look below!
